How many wineries can we visit?
Most groups visit 3–5 wineries in a day. We customize the itinerary to your preferences and ensure you have enough time to enjoy each location.
Is tasting included?
Tasting fees are paid directly to the winery. We handle all reservations and logistics to ensure a seamless experience.
Can you pick us up from our hotel, Airbnb, or mountain cabin?
Yes, we offer door-to-door service throughout the High Country. Just let us know your pickup location when booking.
Can you pick us up outside of the NC Mountains?
Yes! We proudly offer service beyond the High Country. We regularly provide pickups in Charlotte, Greensboro, Hickory, and other surrounding areas.
Our goal is to offer you and your guests safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation. Whether you're at home, a hotel, or a short-term rental, we'll bring you directly to
the heart of wine country.
Do you have any recommendations for lunch or snacks?
Absolutely. We have several great options depending on your preferences:
- Pack a cooler with snacks, water, and non-alcoholic drinks (our vans have room).
- Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson offer many great restaurants and food spots.
- Many wineries feature food trucks on weekends.
- Extending your experience to one of the areas great dinner spots, such as Craft Bistro in West Jefferson or the Gamekeeper in Boone.
We’ll work with you to fit a food stop into your itinerary.
Can we drink alcohol in the vehicle?
We understand the appeal of a “party-on-wheels” vibe, but we prioritize a safe and respectful experience for everyone:
- Wineries are often just minutes apart, so there's little time between stops.
- Over-drinking can lead to being cut off by wineries, and sometimes the entire group may be denied service if one person appears overly intoxicated.
- You’ll be surprised how much wine you enjoy during an 8-hour tour. We strongly recommend hydrating and snacking between stops to pace yourself.
We want every group to have a great experience—and that includes being welcomed warmly at every winery!
Are winery reservations required?
Most wineries welcome walk-in guests, but when you're touring with us—especially in groups of 8 or more—we go the extra mile to ensure a smooth experience.
We notify each winery in advance with your group size and estimated arrival time. This helps avoid scheduling conflicts, unexpected crowds, or staffing issues that could affect your visit. Nothing throws off a relaxing day like a large group arriving unannounced and catching the tasting room staff off guard.
Before your event day, we’ll contact each winery on your itinerary, confirm they can accommodate your group, and share those confirmations with you for peace of mind.
Any suggestions on what to bring with us?
Absolutely! Here’s what we recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable tour:
- Cooler with water and snacks – helps you stay hydrated and energized between tastings.
- Rain ponchos or umbrellas – just in case the weather shifts.
- Dress in layers – especially in spring or fall; bring a sweatshirt or light jacket.
- Phone charger – our vans are equipped with USB ports so you can stay charged throughout the day.
We want your experience to be stress-free and memorable—from the first pickup to the last pour!
Do your prices include gratuity?
No, unlike some companies, gratuities are not mandatory, but they are greatly appreciated. Like in any service industry,
it is customary to show appreciation for excellent service. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service whether or not a gratuity is given.
If you'd like to tip your driver but don’t have cash, our drivers accept Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle.
How much does it cost, and how long are the wine tours?
Our wine tours are charged by the hour, based on your vehicle choice.
- We bill from first pickup to final drop-off.
- There is a 6-hour minimum.
On average, most wine tours last 7 to 9 hours, depending on your pickup location and how many wineries you’d like to visit.
A typical tour includes:
- 3 to 4 wineries.
- About 1.5 to 2 hours per winery.
- Time for lunch or a food stop, if desired.
We’re happy to help you design the perfect route based on your group’s preferences, pace, and timing!
